  • The Worksets tab now uses full-size Open / Close buttons, model names are color-highlighted in the trees, and small dialogs no longer expand to the full screen width.
  • RS.ProjectBrowser can open Worksets directly for the selected link; closed worksets inside loaded links are now clearly highlighted.
  • Website updates were redesigned: the check now distinguishes up-to-date, update available, installer not published, and website unavailable; downloads run in the background with progress and cancellation, the installer is verified by SHA-256, and installation starts after Revit closes. Settings now brings together theme, licensing, updates, and build information; ribbon placement is synchronized: Params in Manage, Browser in Tools, MCP in AI.

  • Updated RS-Systems interface: Manage / Tools / Models / AI panels, compact uniform buttons with short English labels, Revit-style icons for light and dark themes, automatic window fitting to the usable monitor area at the current DPI, and optional coloring of Revit view tabs by project or by file.
  • Delete is now available for family categories and folders, including imported DWG/DXF categories; it removes deletable families/types and reports protected items. The tree no longer jumps or unexpectedly expands after model changes—scrolling and expansion stay under user control.

Fixes

  • The RS Tools panel on the Modify tab appears only when Revit links are selected and is hidden in the Family Editor.
  • Fixed the panel reappearing after changes to the view, document or editing context; duplicate panel instances are removed.
  • Selection checks now account for the active document. Deleted elements no longer leave the panel in an incorrect state.

  • “Update from…” now searches the selected folder and all subfolders for any number of selected links, ignores Revit *_backup folders, reports ambiguous matches and can apply the found paths immediately.
  • A new duplicate-link checker finds repeated files, copies with the same name in different folders, extra instances and nested duplicates; they can be reviewed, removed or redirected. Nested links are shown for review only and must be managed through their parent link.
  • When Revit links are selected, Link Manager is available from the contextual Modify tab and opens with those links already selected.

01 Command on the RS-Systems ribbon

Link Manager opens from the RS-Systems tab and gathers every linked-model source in one window without leaving the active model.
