Start from masonry, parquet, paving, abstract or custom layout families instead of building masks manually.
BricksMap helps you build repeatable materials without manually cutting texture maps. The plugin generates the laying pattern, controls joints, colors, variations and nested maps, and automatically creates Bump and NormalBump for surface relief.
BricksMap keeps the visual material and its relief synchronized. Change the layout, element size or joint width once — the diffuse pattern, bump and normal components follow the same logic.
Start from masonry, parquet, paving, abstract or custom layout families instead of building masks manually.
Use separate nested maps for Brick 1, Brick 2 and Grout, with local projection and transform controls.
Randomize color, hue, shift, rotation and fragmentation while keeping the procedural layout repeatable.
Create synchronized Bump and Normal Bump children without drawing separate relief maps by hand.
The duplicated two-frame presentation has been removed. Each card now shows one representative rendered material, with a single enlarged view in the lightbox.

Your own pattern can be added to the plugin for $50. Send any image to the site administrator and pay for converting the pattern into mathematical logic and adding it to the code.
The plugin is configured directly in the Material Editor. The user selects a pattern, sets element and grout size, and controls UV transforms, variations, colors, nested maps and the generated Bump / Normal Bump maps.

The base 3ds Max coordinate block defines the channel and projection system.
Choose Pattern and Mode, element counts, module sizes and joint width.
Control pattern tiling, offset and rotation.
Add repeatable randomization for color, shift, seed, fragmentation and rotation.
Control the nested map inside every individual brick or tile.
Assign separate colors and maps to Brick 1, Brick 2 and Grout.
Generate a synchronized heightfield map for the classic Bump slot.
Generate a tangent-space normal map from the same pattern logic.
After setting up the main pattern you do not need to draw relief maps separately. Bump and NormalBump are created automatically from the pattern and depth parameters, making material setup faster and visually consistent.

The setup remains compact: create the map, select a pattern, connect textures and use the synchronized relief outputs.
Add BricksMap to the Diffuse/Base Color slot and choose the required pattern family.
Define element and grout size, then connect nested maps for the elements and joints.
Use the generated Bump or Normal Bump map and continue working in your usual renderer.
Use the map when scene weight and material flexibility matter. Use the modifier when the camera needs to read real joints, thickness and silhouette.
BricksMap has its own purchase page. After payment, the license appears in the user account. The plugin can then be activated online through the website or offline by e-mail request/response.
Perpetual license for the 1.x branch. Supports 3ds Max 2021–2027 and lets you quickly add BricksMap to a regular archviz pipeline.
