Version history

2.0.31 | 07.10.2026

  • Family Editor: bodies are separate rows by form type; bodies in one family category can be selected separately. Fixed elements with no category.

2.0.29–2.0.30 | 05.10.2026

  • New “Pay as you go” licensing mode: top up the RS-Systems account on the website, then any suite product can run for 1 cent per minute of actual work. Only active minutes are charged: input in product windows or panels, command execution, long processing, or background model work; an open but idle window is free. The 1 cent/minute charge is per computer regardless of how many products are running; Internet is required. The account is connected with a device code (the password is never passed to the product); connecting it in one product enables the mode in all. Priority: license → regional promotion → active trial → pay as you go, so licensed or trial products do not consume the balance.
  • The status line shows the balance (“Pay as you go: balance 12.34 USD (≈ 20 h 34 min)”). With less than one hour left, an indicator, “≈ N min left — top up your balance”, and a “Top up” button appear. There are no balance pop-ups. Without a connection or with an empty balance, commands and panels do not start; already open windows and running processing are not interrupted. “Pay as you go” (connect, top up, disconnect) is now available in the startup and License windows.
  • A new product first uses its own 90-day trial—even if an account is already connected—and only then starts consuming the balance together with the other suite products. An expired trial does not restart; an individual product license still takes precedence over pay as you go, while the other products remain on pay as you go. Status: “Trial: N days left. Then — pay as you go.”

2.0.22–2.0.27 | 30.09–01.10.2026

  • The RS-Systems theme has been aligned with the website colors: cyan accent, amber section labels, and website-style buttons. List, tree, and field backgrounds are #07171E (nothing is darker); the window background is 15 RGB units lighter. Filled surfaces carrying text or icons are no longer cyan. Revit’s own Light and Dark theme colors are unchanged.
  • Fixed: small auto-sized dialogs (for example, “Revit Tabs”) no longer stretch across the full screen width.

2.0.17–2.0.20 | 28–29.09.2026

  • Website updating has been redesigned: the check now distinguishes the current version, an available update, an unpublished installer, and an unavailable website; downloads run in the background with progress and cancellation, the installer is verified by SHA-256 and launched after Revit closes. Settings now combines theme, license, updates, and build information; ribbon order is standardized: Params in Manage, Browser in Tools, MCP in AI.

2.0.4–2.0.14 | 25–26.09.2026

  • The RS-Systems interface has been updated: Manage / Tools / Models / AI panels, compact equal-size buttons with short English labels, Revit-style icons for Light and Dark themes, automatic window placement inside the monitor work area with DPI awareness, and optional coloring of Revit view tabs by project or file.
  • Selection follows Revit Filter more closely. Text rules support multiple checkbox values: OR inside a rule, AND between rules. Value list: search, All/None, counter; actions on visible results preserve hidden checks. Numeric rules use one value. Esc closes the list first; large lists are virtualized.

DESCRIPTION

Revit SmartSelect

How to use

Large models need controlled selection, not manual clicking

When you need to check or modify many elements, manual selection is slow and unreliable. SmartSelect makes selection repeatable and rule-based.

01 The SmartSelect command on the Revit ribbon

The Filter+ command is available on the RS-Systems tab and on Modify | Multi-Select after you select elements.

02 Categories in the current selection

The window groups the currently selected elements by category and displays the original and expected element counts.

03 Parameters of the selected category

Expand a category and enable one or more parameters to refine the selection.

04 Operators appropriate to the data type

Numeric parameters use comparison operators, text parameters use string conditions, and separate operators are provided for empty values.

05 Values from the current selection

The list of values is built from the selected elements, so you can choose the value you need without entering it manually again.

06 Checking the result in Revit

After you apply the rules, only matching elements remain selected, and you can immediately check the result in Properties.
