1.2.30–1.2.31 | 05.10.2026

• New "Pay by time" licensing mode: top up your account balance via PayPal, and any plugin in the suite can run at a cost of 1 cent per minute of actual work. A minute is charged only when there is activity — input in windows and panels, command execution, long-running processing, or background work with the model; an open but idle window is not charged. On one computer, only 1 cent per minute is deducted regardless of how many plugins are running.
• Account connection uses a device code: the plugin displays a code and opens a confirmation page on the website; your password is never passed to the plugin. Connecting the account in one plugin enables the mode for the entire suite. The mode works online only: without a connection or with a zero balance, commands and dockable panels do not start, while already open windows and running operations are not interrupted.
• The status bar shows the balance and estimated remaining time; when less than one hour remains, an accent indicator and a "Top up" button appear. There are no balance pop-ups. A fourth "Pay by time" option has been added to the startup window, a matching tab (connect, top up, disconnect) to the activation window, and a pay-by-time card to the "RS-Systems License" window.
• Access priority: plugin license → regional promotion → trial period → pay by time. No balance is deducted for a plugin that has an active license or trial.
• If the account is already connected, a newly installed plugin first uses its own 90-day trial period (status bar: "Trial period: N days remaining. Then — pay by time.") and only after it ends does time-based charging begin. An expired trial does not restart, and a license for an individual plugin still takes priority over pay by time.
• The mode works together with the rs-systems.org website update (account area and connection confirmation page). Until that update is deployed, account connection will report "cannot connect to server"; licenses, trials, and promotions are unaffected.

1.2.27–1.2.29 | 01.10.2026

• Link status colors: rows in the "Active Links" table are colored by link state — loaded, unloaded for me, unloaded for everyone, closed worksets present, or not found. Font and background colors can be enabled independently for each state; selected rows keep the selection colors. A new "Status colors…" button in the main window footer opens settings with a live row preview, reset to defaults, and a master color switch; changes apply immediately. Choose from 48 preset tiles or enter a HEX value.
• Status colors are configured separately for the Light, Dark, and RS-Systems themes; in "Auto" mode the set switches with the Revit theme. Background modes include "Color", "Lighter than background", and "Darker than background", with an offset of 1 to 100 units relative to the table background. The previous version's setting becomes the initial value for all three themes.
• The "Link" checkbox no longer changes the document immediately or asks questions — it only marks the desired row state (a hint appears on that row). The change takes effect with "Apply": links whose checkbox is cleared are removed from the document and the list in one transaction together with the existing list logic. "Delete" and the Delete key still act immediately.
• In the RS-Systems theme, the checked-checkbox fill is now calmer: cyan remains as a thin border, while the fill itself uses the button color. Light and Dark themes are unchanged.

1.2.21–1.2.25 | 30.09–01.10.2026

• The RS-Systems theme has been aligned with the website color scheme across the suite: new backgrounds, borders, text and selection colors, cyan accent, amber warning color, and light cyan for model names. Action buttons use the website button color, while section labels ("Active Links", "Search Sources", labels in the activation window) are amber.
• Cyan has been removed from fills that carry text or icons: selected tabs, segments, and drop-down lists in activation and update windows now use the button color with readable text. Cyan is retained only for thin elements — focus, borders, links, and indicators.
• In the RS-Systems theme, list, tree, and field backgrounds are nowhere darker than #07171E, and the window background is 15 units lighter than list backgrounds. Light and Dark themes are unchanged.

1.2.12–1.2.18 | 28–30.09.2026

• The "Worksets" tab now has full-size "Open" / "Close" buttons, model names in trees are highlighted with color, and small dialogs no longer stretch to the full screen width.
• From RS.ProjectBrowser you can open "Worksets" directly for the selected link; closed worksets inside loaded links are now clearly highlighted.
• Website updating has been reworked: the check now distinguishes an up-to-date version, an available update, an unpublished installer, and an unavailable website; downloads run in the background with progress and cancellation, the installer is verified by SHA-256 and launched after Revit closes. "Settings" now combines theme, license, updates, and build information; ribbon button placement is unified: Params in Manage, Browser in Tools, MCP in AI.

1.1.36–1.2.10 | 24–26.09.2026

• The RS-Systems interface has been updated: Manage / Tools / Models / AI panels, compact equal-sized buttons with short English labels, Revit-style icons for light and dark themes, automatic window placement within the monitor work area with DPI awareness, and optional coloring of Revit view tabs by project or file.
• The "Delete" command is available for family categories and folders, including imported DWG/DXF categories; available families/types are deleted and protected items are listed in the report. The tree no longer jumps or expands by itself after model changes — scrolling and expansion remain under user control.

Fixes

• The RS Tools panel on the "Modify" tab is shown only when Revit links are selected and is hidden in the Family Editor.
• Fixed the panel reappearing after changing the view, document, or editing context; duplicate panel instances are removed.
• Selection checking now uses the active document. Deleted elements no longer keep the panel in an incorrect state.

• "Reload From…" now searches the selected folder and all subfolders for any number of selected links, skips Revit *_backup folders, reports ambiguous matches, and can apply found paths immediately.
• A new duplicate check finds repeated files, same-named copies in different folders, extra instances, and nested duplicates; they can be reviewed, deleted, or reassigned. Nested links are read-only here and are managed through their parent link.
• When Revit links are selected, "Link Manager" is available on the contextual "Modify" tab and opens with those links already selected.

• Windows use the application icon. F1 contextual help has been added to the ribbon button; it opens the English product page.
• The update window, messages, status bar, and license tab have been translated into the supported Revit interface languages.

• New links are placed by shared coordinates whenever possible, and the "Site" column lets you view and apply shared sites.

• "Reload From…" is clearer, preserves the final selection, restores links on closed worksets, and remembers the window state.
