RS.BIMManager
Version history
1.16.23–1.16.24 | 05.10.2026
- New “Pay as you go” licensing mode: top up the RS-Systems account on the website, then any suite product can run for 1 cent per minute of actual work. Only active minutes are charged: input in product windows or panels, command execution, long processing, or background model work; an open but idle window is free. The 1 cent/minute charge is per computer regardless of how many products are running; Internet is required. The account is connected with a device code (the password is never passed to the product); connecting it in one product enables the mode in all. Priority: license → regional promotion → active trial → pay as you go, so licensed or trial products do not consume the balance.
- The status line shows the balance (“Pay as you go: balance 12.34 USD (≈ 20 h 34 min)”). With less than one hour left, an indicator, “≈ N min left — top up your balance”, and a “Top up” button appear. There are no balance pop-ups. Without a connection or with an empty balance, commands and panels do not start; already open windows and running processing are not interrupted. “Pay as you go” (connect, top up, disconnect) is now available in the startup and License windows.
- A new product first uses its own 90-day trial—even if an account is already connected—and only then starts consuming the balance together with the other suite products. An expired trial does not restart; an individual product license still takes precedence over pay as you go, while the other products remain on pay as you go. Status: “Trial: N days left. Then — pay as you go.”
1.16.16–1.16.21 | 30.09–01.10.2026
- The RS-Systems theme has been aligned with the website colors: cyan accent, amber section labels, and website-style buttons. List, tree, and field backgrounds are #07171E (nothing is darker); the window background is 15 RGB units lighter. Filled surfaces carrying text or icons are no longer cyan. Revit’s own Light and Dark theme colors are unchanged.
- The colors of “added / changed / removed” markers have been aligned with the new palette.
- Fixed: small auto-sized dialogs (for example, “Revit Tabs”) no longer stretch across the full screen width.
1.16.12–1.16.15 | 28–29.09.2026
- Website updating has been redesigned: the check now distinguishes the current version, an available update, an unpublished installer, and an unavailable website; downloads run in the background with progress and cancellation, the installer is verified by SHA-256 and launched after Revit closes. Settings now combines theme, license, updates, and build information; ribbon order is standardized: Params in Manage, Browser in Tools, MCP in AI.
1.12.0–1.16.9 | 23–26.09.2026
- The RS-Systems interface has been updated: Manage / Tools / Models / AI panels, compact equal-size buttons with short English labels, Revit-style icons for Light and Dark themes, automatic window placement inside the monitor work area with DPI awareness, and optional coloring of Revit view tabs by project or file.
- A project no longer requires a root model. The project catalog is stored in the CDE folder, a link to it is written to project models, and BIM Manager is available from any project file. Families, parameters, and view templates can be transferred between any project files; the permanent reference model and history store are no longer used.
- “Family Parameters” can use multiple shared-parameter files at the same time, add and replace parameters, formulas, and values, and save reusable presets. Old RS.CDE project databases and the previous standards history are not migrated automatically.
1.11.4 | 10.09.2026
- Application windows use their own icon. F1 help and interface localization are not yet implemented.
1.11.2
- Links can be added from the project model list with checkboxes or by file path. Loading a model into itself is blocked.
1.11.1
- The pending-changes list now has scrolling and checkboxes. Unchecked changes are cancelled when applying.
1.10.0–1.11.0
- Project models can be compared with a reference, and selected content can be accepted into the root model. Project standards are stored in the root model with version history and rollback.
